[Ozarts Premiere] Sinoptic International – Pure Dopeness Vol.3 (Beat Tape Preview)

A month after the “Special Interludes” edition, Sinoptic International is about to release a third volume to its “Pure Dopeness” series. The producers collective, led by DJ Hellblazer and GooMar, has thus renewed the experience bringing together instrumentals of beatmakers from all around the world. This third opus constitutes the logical suite of the previous issues and so aims to promote the beatmaking as a complete discipline, free from formal as fundamental constraints. And, as any release has to be planed, Sinoptic International generously allowed us to present a world premiere preview of four tracks from this new volume. You will so discover here after the production of loop.holes, a talented Norwegian beatmakers collective who joined the team, such as did Radj from Montreal (illsound Records) who brings a specially exciting instrumental. You will also have the opportunity to play two Hellblazer‘s tracks. Lastly, let’s notice Prozak Morris, Paul Hares, Keor Meteor, iLL.Sugi, Pigeon Dust, Nesto Smoked Beat, Dr Drumah or still Para Dice are announced on this “Pure Dopeness Vol.3″. Fahamu Pecou – All Dat Glitters Ain’t Goals (Clip)

The painter and rapper Fahamu Pecou has juts unveiled the clip of “All Dat Glitters Ain’t Goals”. The video is directed by Fabian “Occasional Superstar” Williams and the track is excerpted from the eponymous EP. THs disc is inspired by the canvasses of the American artist and the clip incidentally covers that imagery. Let’s notice a post dedicated to the work of Fahamou Pecou had been published on the website at the beginning of the year. The tack “All Dat Glitters Ain’t Goals” is produced, as all the EP, by Illastrate and features about 10 MCs from Atlanta. Fahamu Pecou so joined forces with Yamin Semali, Methuzulah, Mike Flo, Ekundayo, DT, Massive the Victor, Boog Brown, Joe D, Divine Wiz and Great SCOTT. Last thing to know: the album “All That Glitters Ain’t Goals” is available on a free download through Bandcamp.

If you were still doubting about it, Savages is the rock band of the present time. Brutal debut LP, elegant clips and implacable lives, the praises pile up! As show their radio appearance at Seattle’s KEXP. The British girls made a mnd-blowing performance playing “City’s Full”, “Shut Up”, “She Will” and “Husbands”. Here is “Ain’t Worried About Nothin”, French Montana‘s last clip. The tube is the second single excerpted from the debut and forthcoming album of the Bronx rapper. A LP entitled “Excuse My French” that will drop out on May 21st and that will feature Diddy and Rick Ross, who incidentally appear in the clip, or still Snoop Dog, Scarface and Raekwon. Jared Evan, freshly arrived on the mainstream Soul and RnB scene, has just unveiled his new clip. A video directed by Robbie Barclay to illustrate his track “The Devil Wears Prada”. The song is excerpted from the album “Boom Bap & Blues” entirely produced by Statik Selektah. We can also hear on this LP the great “Uma Thurman”as “Black & White”, recorded with Joey Bada$$. You can incidentally play the LP on Soundcloud. However, to get it, you will have to go through iTunes as, after the success of the album, Jared Evan gave up the free download to finally sell “Boom Bap & Blues”.

The collective Pragmatic Theory, in partnership with Rhythm22, has just uploaded a new beat tape named “The Soul Sessions”. You already understood it: the project brings together about thirty instrumentals built on Soul samples by beatmakers coming from all around the world, mainly from the USA and Germany. Among these, let’s name Pawcut, KLIM beats, Brock Berrigan, Keor Meteor or still Jewbei. A good album available on a free download through Bandcamp what we, of course, will not refuse!

On June 11th will drop out “The Ghetto’s Tryna Kill Me”, the White Mandingos debut LP. Meanwhile, the band formed by Murs, Darryl Jenifer and Sacha Jenkins SHR unveiled the clip directed by Kellen Dengler to illustrate the track “Mandingo Rally” which will figure on the aforementioned album. The song highlights Murs rhymes on a sample from the famous afro-punk Bad Brains Darryl Jenifer is member of. You can incidentally get the limited vinyl version of “Mandingo Rally” on Fat Beats.

Let’s cross time and space to go to Colombia, and precisely into the world of Alfonso Córdoba known as El Brujo or El Da Vinci Negro. Born in Quibdó (1926) where he died in 2009, El Brujo is a singer, composer and musician. He is also considered as one of the most important representative of Colombian and all Pacific littoral music. During the his long career, he will have formed seven bands, among which the Orquesta Guayacan, and composed dozens of songs. A prolific work Colombia’s government celebrated in 2008 with the Gran Orden al Mérito Cultural. Let’s also notice the Colombian DJ Lucas Silva dedicated to him a documentary entitled “Rapsodia Negra”, that unfortunately hasn’t cross the borders yet.

The great Thaione Davis unveiled last week his new album. Entitled “The Joys of Life & Pain”, the LP brings together 19 tracks that confirm all the MC-producer’s talent. We can so hear “Hypnotize”, the clip of which we already could appreciate, or still “Demonstrating Literature” produced by Tall Black Guy. On instrumentals hand, we also notice beats of Rashid Hadee or The GEAUX. Though, despite the main quality of the opus, one comment must be made: the abusive use of compressors flats the spectrum and deprives the voices, or even the samples, from any amplitude and resonance. The album is available on iTunes.
