Molami Headphones Collection

Founded by Maria von Euler, the firm Molami combines the knowhow of fashion and engineering to develop ears and monitors adapted to the feminine silhouette. A feature the world of audio stayed away from until now. The models so propose quality devices paired with a design thought for women’s faces. Each pair presents details such as the gold and silver decorations or cables lined with plaited fabrics. In such a way, Bight emerges thanks to its discretion and its leather cover. The Twine, as for it, is a satin headband. Lastly, the Pleat appears like a traditional monitor that perfectly fits with the bonny features. To replace the X10, Fujifilm released in April the X20. This freshly new arrived in the compacts family covers the form of its predecessor but completely changes the composure. Indeed, the x20 integrates a 12MP 2/3″-type X-Trans CMOS II sensor associated with an EXR Processor II. In short, the same pair than the X100s. Next to this, Fujifilm keeps the optical viewfinder that contributed to the fame of the X10, and adds exposure informations. Lastly, the F2.0-2.8 lens (28-112mm) is electronically improved to enhance the image. And the first made tests are really positive. Until 1600ISO, the X20 delights its users. To such a point some even compare it to the reflex cameras from a superior range. Knowing that it is sold for an approximative price of 545€, this new Fujifilm Compact will probably reach a high success. Available on Amazon.

The Block Watch is the first timepiece imagined by Tom Dixon for the “Eclectic” accessories line. Founded in 2012, this one proposes everyday life objects assembled from fine and resistant materials. The Block Watch is no exception as brass, stainless steel or rose gold each constitute one of the three models. The watch bases its elegance on the simplicity of its forms as functions and the crystal dial so exclusively unveils the time thanks to the three differently colored hands. Lastly, a number is individually etched on each piece to ensure the uniqueness.

HM3 by MB&F

Founded in 2005 by Maximilian Büsser, the MB&F house brings together the crafts of talented watchmakers to create each year a master piece. Among these jewels, the HM3 (Horlogical Machine 3) upset the usual codes of the sector. Developed to highlight the time engineering, this model gives as much importance to the display of hours and minutes than to the movement devised by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht. The face is thus divided into two semicircles. The first one unveils the mechanism of the watch as, on its circumference, the days of the month, while the second one presents two domes which respectively reveal the hours and the minutes. The house proposes two different models that allow to choose between an alignment of the cones perpendicular to the wristband (Sidewinder) and a position inline with the same bracelet (Starcruiser). Both versions are available in white gold 18K or red gold 18K. Lastly, let’s notice MB&F also produced two other series for the HM3: the Megawind and the HM3 Frog (limited edition).

Ricoh-Pentax GR

Ricoh, after having merged with Pentax, comes back on the market that made its fame: the fixed-lens compact one. The firm thus presented the GR, a model that covers the legacy of the first versions released at the end of the 90′s. The GR is thus equipped with an F2.8 (28mm) and an APS-C-sized CMOS image sensor (16.2 megapixels). The LCD screen offers a resolution of 1.23 million dots while the magnesium case ensure roughness and lightness. Lastly, the GR can record Full HD videos of 1920×1080 pixels (16:9) at 30 images/sec. The GR also offers a high-speed auto focus system, that can focus on a subject in a mere two-tenths (0.2) of a second, and lots of functions such as the Snap shot, a silent shooting, racks of effects,… It will be available form May with a cost of 750€. Breva Génie 01

Founded in 2010 by Vincent Dupontreué, the house Breva enters now in the world of high watchmaking with an amazing model named “Génie 01″. This wristwatch, developed by Jean-François Mojon, is the only in the world to provide on a same dial the hours, the minutes, the air pressure, the altitude, the level of the battery as the weather forecast.

Datas get among others thanks to a barometer and an altimeter. The hours and the minutes are so displayed on a semi-transparent tinted sapphire disc placed in the lower left curve of the dial while, on top, a graduated arch shows the altitude. A second sapphire disc allows to know the air pressure and provides, thanks to pictograms, the weather forecast.

Lastly, the level of the battery is marked by a wind rose placed at 4 o’clock. The unique movement of the Génie 01 (46 rubies) can be appreciated on the two faces of the dial as the rear is also equipped with a sapphire glass. Lastly, all the mechanics are protected with a 44,7 mm case available in white gold or 4N pink gold. Only 55 pieces of each model will be sold. More informations on the website of the house.

B&O BeoPlay H3 & H6

Bang & Olufsen develops for several years mobile-oriented models. The BeoPlay range is the result of that. To complete it, the Danish firm had to propose earphones specifically devoted to these players. A requirement undertaken as Bang & Olufsen announced the release of the BeoPlay H3 and H6. Both models, designed by Jakob Wagner, thus place themselves on the market of the digital intra-auricular and headphones. The BeoPlay H3 combine plastic and aluminum to care 10mm drivers offering a spectrum of 20Hz to 16kHz. The pair, available in 3 colors (black, silver and red), will be sold 250€. The BeoPlay H6 ensures a spectrum of 20Hz to 22kHz thanks to 40mm drivers. The cushions are covered withe leather and the headphone, black or brown, is equipped with a Daisy Chain function which allows to share music (Monster Music Link). Selling price: 400€. The marketing date has announced for the month of May.

The Korean firm 4th Design specialized in accessories for Apple devices. Among the products it distributes emerge the Trigger Case, a metallic holder for iPhone 5. Available in grey, silver or tactic (khaki), this case protects twice the smartphone as under the aluminum frame is laid a polymer shockproof strip. The Trigger Case is also equipped with buttons, notably for the volume control, that adapt to the function of the iPhone. Founded thanks to Kickstarter, the firm iZZi proposes a box of lenses for iPhone named Orbit. The accessory, available in red, black, purple, blue and silver, combines a wide angle, a macro and a fisheye. The three lenses are built on a rotative axis that allows to change them by simple sliding. The whole dispositive is sold online for $239.00. Each piece can also be bought individually.
