From September 14 to October 15, Béziers AD Galerie will host the new exhibition of Cédrix Crespel. The painter will present his last works, a series named “BullS, HorseS and GilrX”. Having successively explored intimacy and suggestiveness, Crespel slides this time towards metaphor. Appropriating the mythical characters of the Minotaur and Diana to transpose them to the world of rodeo, he figures, with his usual chromatic palette, the sensual and seductive play of the women in front of men’s brutality. A shadowy representation where clash the ideas of domination, power, grace and liberation.
