Since June 21, Los Angeles Stephen Cohen Gallery hosts The Cradle of Mankind, an exhibition presenting pictures shot by Joey L. in the Omo Valley. In the way of Brent Stirton, the Canadian photographer went to Ethiopia where he lived with several secular tribes, now threatened by the surrounding urban development-projects. True to his usual approach of the photo-report, Joey L. brings an anthropological look to these people while giving them a vibrant visual homage. A show you can see until August 4.
