Regular to the Goodwood Festival of Speed (West Sussex), the designer Gerry Judah presented there a new installation. Indeed, after Renault in 2002, Toyota in 2007, Alfa in 2010, Audi in 2009 or still Jaguar in 2011, the Londoner, born in India, celebrates this time Lotus and its founder Colin Chapman (1928-1982), creator of the monocoque chassis used in Formula1. Judah has so imagined a 3D circuit about 60 tonnes, assembled from steel plates welded at their edge to get triangular strips. Six historical models of the Lotus team challenge on it a virtual race.
