The Italian street artist Emanuele Ronco, aka Rems182, pursues his artistic course portraying political leaders, Prime Ministers, all exposed in some way to controversy. His Dreams of Glory series, strated in 2011 with the painting of Berlusconi, indeed brings together representations of persons like Poutine, Ahmadinejad, Benedict XVI or still Kim Jong Un. The strong and strict image these figures convey through the medias is so tempered with the translucent hand Rems182 usually places on faces. From this results a paradoxical tension that founds all the conceptuality of this project.
