While the 2012 edition of the View Conference and the VIew Festival is currently being prepared, our partners informed us about the launching of three new contests. To the already classic View Award and Italian Mix are thus added a View Social contest, a View Award Game and the Contest Grimm Animated.

To celebrate the power of technology serving society, the italian collective proposes the Social Contest. I you directed between 2011 and 2012 a movie, a short-film, a clip or an advertising using animation (2D/3D) to deal with present social topics, this contest is aimed to you. You can apply until June 30 and the winner will get a prize of 1500€.

The View Award Game, as shows its name, is the alter ego of the View Award for the creators of video games. Four categories are proposed: Best Gameplay, Best Art Design, Best Architecture et Best Music.

Lastly, the Contest Grimm Animated marks the 200th anniversary of the Children and Household Tales by the Brothers Grimm. Any animator being less than 30 years old and based in Italy or Germany is invited to present a modern version of one of the tales in a short-movie (5 minutes maximum). The projects must be submitted before August 24 and the winners (one for Italy, one for Germany) will receive 1500€.
