With this documentary, Ice-T pays tribute to rap. Entitled « Something from nothing: The Art of Rap », the film meets main figures of the movement to, beyond success and respective notorieties, try to explain the mind that moves these artists. Yasiin Bey, Run, KRS One, Nas, Snoop Dog, Salt, DJ Premier, Ice Cube, more than forty MCs directly express themselves through interviews, freestyles, rhymes and a cappellas.
