From June 3rd to 7th, happened in Gambia the Wide Open Walls. A community Art project aimed to promote Gambia as touristic destination but also to redeem urbanism as space of sharing. Inviting artists as ROA, Know Hope, Remed or Best Ever to paint the inhabitations walls, Lawrence Williams, the originator, wants to set connections between the communities and the street artists. A double initiative as, next to the stimulated interaction, will be pursued an economic role. The release of a book, the sell of photographs, the direction of a documentary and the organization of an immersive touristic circuit, will raise funds for the village. A great project you can now discover through the works of the Belgian ROA.
