Amangiri Valley
So far away this time when desert rhymed with dust… This time when survival could only be imagined through the grime and the half-light of a hut never leaving the rifle and a mount. Save the sun and the azure John Wayne’s look, nothing shined there. But, today, spurred on by Aman Resort, Amangiri, rocky valley of the Four Corners, has been transformed in a gold retreat place where calm and landscape wide are only disturbed by the step of the hikers and their horses.

Hotel complex et individual villas form a luxurious village in the middle of nowhere, where stress and urban turmoil loose any meaning. And, as opulence and forgetting about everything, even oneself, can’t be improvised, restaurant, swimming pool, fitness, spa and library complete the lazy or touristic break away. A quite saga to discover the american South-West, its canyons, its fauna or even the cultural vestiges of Navajos and other native tribes. A concept of architects Rick Joy, Wendell Burnett and Marwan Al-Sayed.
